Chevy dealers in Illinois

September 30th, 2011

Illinois is a big state that has more than 13 million residents. It is certainly a big state with Chicago being one of its biggest cities. In Chicago, Illinois alone there are around 2.7 million residents. Around 1.2 million are considered as belonging to the working population. The working public either drives their own vehicle or they use public transportation to work. The modes of transportation are as follows: 10 percent are car pooling, around 26 percent use public transportation; only 2.5 use motorbikes, tricycles or taxi as a mode of transportation; 51 percent drive to work; only 5% walk to work; and the remainder need not commute to and from work because they work at home.

Since a vast majority of the working public in Chicago, use vehicles to drive themselves to work, putting up car dealerships is certain a good investment. It’s also a good idea to have more Illinois Chevrolet dealers as they can certainly make a profit from selling Chevys to the large car buyer’s market. A profit can be expected as so many Chicago workers prefer to drive their own vehicles to work.

Illinois Chevrolet dealers should not only concentrate on dealing new vehicles. The used vehicles segment is also increasing rapidly as more and more budget conscious car buyers prefer to buy used vehicles or pre-owned vehicles. There is also much room for Illinois Chevrolet dealers to sell certified pre-owned vehicles which are much higher in quality compared to ordinary second-hand vehicles.
